I first bought this album on vinyl when it came out originally as I had bought all Tomita's previous interpretations of the classics beginning with Snowflakes are Dancing. I was always swept away with the gorgeous tonal layers he wove into his works. Very imaginative, with meticulous attention to the slightest detail ensuring that the intentions of the original composers were adhered to but competently enhanced in a way that the limitations of the physical analogue instruments of their time could never have achieved. Tomita's style has yet to be surpassed and his musical interpretations will always retain a very special magic for me. I bow to a master.
