Wendy Carlos: Switched-On Bach

This is a superb remastering of the original album that transported electronic music from the fringes of novelty to the serious main stream. Without this work other follow-on electronic music composers, such as Vangelis, would have had a difficult time in getting their work recognized as serious music. This album is definately worth a listen even if only for historic value. I however fell that it is just as serious as when an orchestra plays the same pieces.
